Usually, any Pinot Noir label from Oregon rarely provides a thrill, but Maison L’Envoyé has single-handedly put Oregon on the map as the ‘other Burgundy’. Boldly championing unsung growers in the neighboring regions, it’s recognized as the ‘Winery To Watch’.

And, of course THE  ATTACHE 2015 is the golden child of this perfect union. Young, bright and 100% Pinot Noir, it’s deliciously fruit-driven with a core of warm raspberries, mulberries, and potpourri with hints of fallen leaves and dried sage. Medium-bodied, with a satisfying intensity of red fruit and earthy layers,  it is so smooth (to a guilty pleasure fault!). 

Just like most of Niko’s wine treasures, this too was one hard-to-get sacred Pinot jewel. Oh you might be able to dig one up next time you’re in Burgundy, (France!!!) but why wait?
