Before you go and pull out your lederhosen this is not that beer-chugging knockoff fest that spells oktober with a k(who does that?) and takes place in September. All squidding aside, this is the real deal, here.
and it’s taking place here at OCEANOS - as we honor the divine delicacy - a festival of flavor - our grilled octopus.
This is no ordinary fest. It’s a celebration of taste and beauty - a savory feast that is both a work of art and a labour of love, combining head-turning attention and masterful taste.
Octo’Fest (aka Octo feast) kicks off with OCEANOS’ very own maestro Pete sourcing the world’s best and most tender octopus from Portugal. This initiates the official ‘prep to perfection’ of soft massaging, slooowww boiling, and marinading in a sacred procession of 4 different vinegars.
All leading to the grand finale of grilling on a glorious open flame for a crisp, browned edge and tender juicy, smoke-infused bite, seasoned with Greek island capers, grilled onions and bay leaves, drizzled in rich Greek olive oil. Perfection on a plate.
